Xlear [pronounced kleer] #momsmeet #allnatural #coupon

Xlear: The Xylitol Experts #xylitol #allnatural #health #wellness

Have you ever known anyone who was addicted to nose spray? When I was little, I remember a relative who was constantly using nose spray and later I learned that her nose and her body had become addicted to the chemical ingredients in the spray. This alarmed me significantly, and because of it, I have never used nose spray in my life, other than saline.

I’ve always been a little leery of any type of nose spray, but when I learned about Xlear products I was extremely intrigued. I first found out about Xlear nasal spray for children which is simply a mixture of saline and xylitol (a naturally occurring plant sweetener). I started using the Xlear nasal spray with my boys a couple of years ago and now use nothing else.

The central ingredient in all Xlear products is xylitol. By definition, xylitol is a sugar alcohol that has antibacterial properties. The addition of xylitol to saline nasal sprays, neti pots and positive pressure bottles has been shown to make them more effective at helping and preventing ear infections in children, sinus infections in adults and allergies and asthma in individuals of all ages.

I was asked by Moms Meet about a month ago to review Xlear’s adult products. I was super excited since I’ve seen firsthand that the children’s products are effective. I wanted to try out the adult products as well. The company sent me the Xlear Care Kit which includes some of their nasal products and the Spry Dental Defense System.

I’m also cautious of traditional toothpastes because of the warning sign on the back of the box that says to call poison control if too much is ingested.

Xylitol is also one of the easiest, tastiest and newest ways that people can improve oral health. Several widespread studies have indicated that xylitol may prevent tooth decay. The Spry Dental Defense System includes Spry Toothpaste, Spry Oral Rinse, Spry Gum and Spry Gems. The toothpaste is fluoride-free. This also makes me happy because I’ve also read about longitudinal studies indicating fluoride may not be so great for us when ingested long-term.

For a limited time you can use the coupon code SAVE50 and receive the entire Xlear Kit for $25 instead of $65. This is an amazing deal and even though I received a kit for this review, I am planning on purchasing another one before the cost increases. While this particular kit doesn’t include the kid’s nasal spray, it includes everything for an adult. You can purchase the kid’s spray separately. It’s very reasonable.

I am quite picky about the products I use for my family and I love the Xlear products. I try to steer clear of toxins and chemicals as much as humanly possible, so it pleases me that the central ingredient in all Xlear products is a plant-based sugar, and one with anti-bacterial properties  to boot. Enjoy!

How can it be that my boys are already twelve and nine? When I created this blog, Case was only five months old and now he’s nine! Time really does fly at a bizarrely fast rate. Nothing brings me greater joy than being mom to my two boys. Brooks and Case are three […]

  • Here’s to 2021 and being unapologetically me January 1, 2021
This morning I wrote Jan. 1, 2021 in my journal. And man, that felt good. I know that a new year doesn’t make last year disappear and in fact, I don’t want 2020 to disappear. It was scrappy and tough and confusing and overwhelming. But I’ve learned that it’s in the mire when we […]

  • A hard anniversary August 14, 2020
Anniversaries are supposed to be a time for celebration and excitement. Except when it’s an anniversary of the death of a loved one. With that type, the day looms ahead and then when it arrives, it feels heavy. Today is the anniversary of my mom’s passing. I haven’t written on my blog in entirely too […]

  • The Day After Mother’s Day May 11, 2020
Sometimes the words are too buried to write. Yesterday when I woke up on Mother’s Day, I thought about writing a blog post. I even opened my computer and stared at the blank screen for a moment, but then I closed my laptop and began reading. I cozied down in bed and enjoyed a good […]

  • 10 Things to Smile About: March 2020 April 5, 2020
Though it feels like a dark cloud is hanging over Earth right now, I was determined to find 10 things to smile about during the month of March, which I think we all can agree felt like a long and bewildering month. This list is much different than previous “10 Things” lists, which often include […]
