I don’t know about you, but I am a picture nerd. Whether I’m the one taking the photos or someone else is holding the camera, I love capturing life in a photographic way. Halloween is an especially fun time to snap pictures. In fact, the past several years I’ve posted a “Through the Years” post where I highlight pictures from every Halloween since our boys were born. Time flies so fast that I truly enjoy going back and looking at tons of pictures.
Last year was especially fun. I made my older son’s costume from scratch and my little one went as Michelangelo. He was obsessed with Ninja Turtles. Last year was also the first Halloween that both boys were old enough to really enjoy the evening without a meltdown. Fellow parents, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.
As they get older, it seems like Halloween gets more and more fun each year. Here were my two little cuties last year. Our three-year old only kept his mask on for 15 minutes, but he was still super cute! And I spent days making the mummy costume, so it was exciting to see our boy have fun wearing it.
We’re already excited about this Halloween! It’s less than two weeks away. EEEK! Interestingly, while most moms and dads snap tons and tons of pictures on Halloween, many people don’t think to get professional Halloween pictures taken like they do for Christmas or birthdays.
Well guess what, my friends?
