Have you ever shopped at a Versona store? I’d never heard of them until they came to Asheville a couple of years ago. When they first opened, they contacted me and asked me to participate in a blogger campaign. I’m pretty picky about clothes and have a relatively distinct style, so I was worried I wouldn’t find anything I liked. Boy, was I wrong. At that time, I bought a funky sleeveless top, a denim dress and a sweater vest wrap. All three items still look amazing despite a multitude of times wearing and washing them.
Versona made contact again recently and asked me to come in and peruse items in their spring line. This past Saturday, I met my friend and fellow blogger Jaime (also part of the campaign) and we had a good time looking around and purchasing some cute clothes for the coming season. I don’t go shopping all that often, but when I do, I love it. It’s rare I have the time to truly look around, try things on, and spend focus energy deciding what I want. It was nice to do that this past Saturday.
I guess I would describe my style as boho-chic but every now and then I like to get dressed up. I honestly feel like Versona has items that fit all of my tastes in clothing. As you can see below, I had a little too much fun in the fitting room.
To top it off the fun afternoon, my best friend stopped by to get some essential oil reference books from me, so we took advantage of the situation and tried on clothes together for the first time in a decade. I had to document the experience because it may not happen for another decade. Here’s my girl, Jenn. BFF since middle school. Isn’t’ she a beauty?
Once I cut myself off and hit my spending limit, I continued to walk around the store and take more photos. Along with clothing, Versona also carries shoes, jewelry, lingerie, accessories, and home decor items. There were many, many things that caught my eye. I’m going to have to visit again once I get paid. Right now, they have some really cute dresses for Easter, graduation or spring cocktail parties. With Easter being a little later this year, we gals may get to actually wear an Easter dress and not a coat and scarf like that past couple of years. Here are a few shots of some other items.
If you’re unsure whether or not you have a Versona near you, the website offers a store location list. If you live in the Asheville/Western North Carolina area, our store is located at 4 South Tunnel Road in the shopping center with Whole Foods and DSW. As you can see in the photos, they have some really cute stuff. Their prices are also reasonable and the clothes are very well-made.
Maybe it’s time you take a day for yourself and do a little shopping. It did all kinds of good for me on Saturday. Have fun!
While I was compensated for my time with a Versona gift card, all opinions are 100% my own.
