Cost: $9 for adults 12 and over, $6 for children ages 4-11, Children 3 and under may enter free of charge, group admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children; a group is considered 20 or more. Groups must pay as a group.
Summary: 12 acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, storybook trails, spider web climb, corn box, giant tube slides, and more. All proceeds go to Eliada Children’s Home.
Hickory Nut Gap Farm:

Dates: August 30-November 2, 2014
Hours: Open seven days a week from 9 am-6 pm
Cost: $7/person, 2 and under free, $1 off weekdays, group rate (15 or more) is $6/person
Summary: Corn maze, farm animals, culvert slides, pumpkin patch, apple picking, hay rides/kiddie cart ($3), horse rides ($7), and more.
Hey Day Fall Family Festival at WNC Nature Center:
Address: 75 Gashes Creek Rd.
Dates: Saturday, October 11, 2014
Hours: 10 am-4 pm
Cost: Adults ($8), youth ($4), seniors ($7), 2 and under are free. ‘Friends of the Nature Center’ are free.
Summary: This is the 38th year of this fun-filled family event. Games, pumpkin painting, arts and crafts, educational animal programs, live music, local food vendors, clogging teams, and a wide variety of exciting wildlife. Raffle with the opportunity to win great items, including a package from Diamond Brand Outdoors.
The MAiZE:

Dates: September 20-November 1, 2014
Hours: Wednesday-Friday (4 pm-9 pm)/Saturday-Sunday (1 pm-9 pm)
Cost: $8/person, 3 and under free
Summary: Corn maze, mini-mazes, haunted mazes, pumpkin patch, corn box, camp fires, hay rides ($2). Check or cash only.
Blue Ridge Corn Maze:
Address: 1605 Everett Rd. Pisgah Forest, NC
Dates: Open all throughout the fall season
Hours: Website states: “Go when you want to / self-serve/ honor system.”
Cost: $7 (13 and up), $5 (children 6-12), 5 and under are free
Summary: This place sounds really cool. It’s a traditional corn maze (6 acres). Website provides this information, “Instructions are posted at the gate which send you into the field to where a school bus is parked. Further instructions are posted there along with clue cards which help navigate the maze, a few rules, admission prices and where to place the admission. Trails are marked out front of the bus,with the 1st trail being the shortest. They both begin and end at the same point.”
First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch:

Dates: Throughout the entire fall season (basically until all pumpkins are sold)
Hours: Someone is typically there to sell from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Cost: $.50 on up (depending on the size of the pumpkin
Summary: This pumpkin patch, located in downtown Waynesville, is a fun event for the entire town. 3,000 pumpkins were delivered for the 13th year of this small town event.
Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church Fall Festival:

Dates: Saturday, October 25, 2014
Hours: 4 pm-7 pm
Cost: Admission is one bag of individually wrapped candy and one canned food item per family member
Summary: Come join folks of all ages for trunk or treating, hay rides, alpaca petting, a s’more station, games, food trucks, and more.
‘Not-So-Scary Fall Festival’ sponsored by Canton First Baptist:

Dates: Sunday, October 27, 2014
Hours: 4-7 pm
Cost: Free event
Summary: Fun family-focused event that will include inflatables, games, hay rides, free food, music, and a cake walk. Costumes are encouraged.
Justice Orchard U-Pick Pumpkins and Apples:

Dates: Throughout the fall season
Hours: 8:30 am-6 pm daily
Cost: Various prices depending on size of pumpkin or amount of apples
Summary: U-pick pumpkins and apples. On Saturdays in October, two beautiful draft horses will be offering hay rides.
Grandad’s Apples n’ Such:

Sky Top Orchard:

Summary: Panoramic mountain views, orchard ponds with ducks and geese, ‘barnyard’ area with sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys and more, a bamboo forest to explore, picnic areas and, of course, a mountaintop of fragrant apple and fruit trees, pumpkins, and festive atmosphere.
Perry’s Berry’s and Pumpkins:

Hours: Wed-Sat 12 noon-dusk

Summary: Hay rides, farm animals, playground, corn hole, hay maze, pumpkins, and fall crafts.
PEANUTS Pumpkin Patch Express:

Cost: Coach Class adult tickets are $55, $31 for children (ages 2-12) and infants ride complimentary in Coach Class seating. Crown Class adult tickets are $67, $38 for children (ages 2-12) and $10 for infants.

Canton First Baptist is having a Not-So-Scary fall festival at the Canton Armory on Sunday October 26. There will be games, inflatables, hayrides, crafts, free food and a cake walk. The entire event is family focused and completely free. Costumes are encouraged!
